3 release event

“3” is a collaborative winemaking effort between Charlottesville winemakers Matthieu Finot (King Family Vineyards), Jake Busching (Grace Estate Winery), and Emily Pelton (Veritas Winery). Using three different grape varieties from three different vineyards, these winemakers craft one unique wine that smoothly blends three distinctive terroirs.

This year, “Team 3” is releasing a brilliant red blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. Sticking to the “rule of three,” the blend was made from three separate tasting trials in order to ensure the proper blend of fruit and oak. The result is a well-balanced wine with aging potential that has bright red fruit on the attack and opens up to rich notes of dark cherry and blueberry on the mid-palate.

Tastings of this limited production will only be available at this release event and the wine will be for sale at the three participating wineries thereafter until sold out. Each winery will only have 45 cases of this limited edition wine for sale at $33.33 per bottle. Maximum 3-bottle purchase. Pre-order now in the online store.

The release of “3” will be held at Grace Estate Winery (5273 Mount Juliet Farm, Crozet, Virginia 22932) on Friday, March 21st from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
